Silvana Eldry lives in the human world and is a faeling. With her wings showing her original identity and hate for faelings in the human world, Silvy has managed to live somehow with the help of foster homes. Taunted by her fellow classmates, ignored and used by her foster parents, the seventeen-year-old waits for her eighteenth birthday to arrive. Maybe freedom would be achieved then.

Her world changes when she gets a scholarship to the beautiful and prestigious academy of the fae, Everlight Academy. In a whole new world and between the new faces, she tries to find a place for herself. But someone from the academy has leaked a piece of important information about Silvana due to which she is considered a threat to this world.

The challenges to figure out her powers and the quest to find her parents, will Silvana ever be able to stand out?

To find out, why do you not get the book!

Well well! I must say I enjoyed this book very much! While the book has showed the suffering and pain of a faeling, a child who is half-fae and half-human, the author has also described the of teenage boys and girls who are a bit different and are always treated differently. Them, who are never given the opportunities and pride they deserve.

I really like the way the story is described. There are no over-detailing, just adequate amount of details which would not make the book boring at all. The book is a quick read and easy to follow. There are not so many characters so keeping a track of each fellow becomes easier. Simple English and surreal sentence formation makes Faeling an awesome read.

If fantasy is something which interests you, be sure to check out the book. It also has romance elements which was fine for me. You can surely give the book a try, it will not leave you in disappointment.

Silvana is scared to try new things but is determined to reach the goals. She finds it difficult to trust people, but, once she trusts someone, they become part of her life. Let’s hope Silvy can find her ideal life.
