The Friday Book Feature!

I decided to start ‘The Friday Book Feature’ to showcase the books I want to read or will be reading soon! Well some of them would be the ones already read and to be reviewed in the near future.

So for the first Friday Feature, here are three books I wish to give a spotlight to.

The first book I am presenting has recently got a fabulous makeover and the book two is going to be released sooner (that is what I am hoping!). I love Carissa’s narration in her books, ‘Secret Legacy’ was the first book I read which was written by her and it is one of my favorite books now! Do check out ‘Secret Legacy’ as well, it releases on 15th of September!

Oracle: A Psychic Mystery Series by Carissa Andrews

For the past two-thousand and some odd years, Diana Hawthorne has always been able to see the past, present, and future with near perfect accuracy. Her only blind spot has been herself. The first twenty years of her existence is a complete blank and she doesn’t know why.

Then she met Blake Wilson.

Can Diana get over her deficiencies and show Blake how gifted she really is? Or will she let the callings of her ancient past cloud her judgment and derail her mission to save the girls?

Next on the list is a spooky read! I got ARC of this book and will be posting the review very soon. The book is really well-written, it has perfect timing of everything and is sure going to give you chills! whosh whosh (intended wind noise)!

The book releases on October 6. Till the release date, the book has an exclusive pre-order discount. Grab your copy now.

Nightmare by Chad Nicholas

Had it come back? No, it couldn’t have. He had buried it for good. Or at least that’s what Scott told himself. But what if it had? Was that why the scarecrow now watched him?

But the more Scott tries to ignore it, the more the evidence begins to pile up. So do the bodies. Because sometimes, the dead don’t stay buried. Sometimes the monster survives.

As the bodies mount, and the secrets of his past grow more haunting, Scott must do whatever it takes to save his family. But what if by doing so, they find out what happened all those years ago? What if they realize what he did?

Scott learns that there is no escape from his own past, or the crows that have crawled out of it. He can only watch, as his life is turned into a living nightmare.

I’m not sure how to describe this book! If you are a fan of Crime and Thriller, this can be your next best read. I am currently reading this book and so far loving it!

Mordecai’s Ashes by Arlana Crane

Karl Larsson is an out of work roughneck, home from the oil fields of Alberta and back on the coast for the first time in years. His wife has left him and his future looks bleak. Becoming a detective is the last thing on his mind, but when Karl learns that he has inherited his estranged grandfather’s agency he decides to take a chance.

He doesn’t expect much action in a city as small as Victoria, BC, but Karl soon finds that Victoria is only the base of operations. His grandfather’s business took him across the length and breadth of Vancouver Island, and the Island is a world unto itself, with a culture all its own.

When a reporter from a national news agency asks him to investigate a drug running operation on the Island, Karl is drawn into a dangerous game. Finding the truth sounds simple in theory, but as Karl delves deeper he begins to realize that more than his life may be at stake.

I know I know! Only three books this time but I will be featuring more books from my TBR piles coming Fridays! Let’s read and help the authors together.

Are there any books you recommend after seeing the books in the spotlight? Do lay your views and do not forget to share the small list of features!

(The synopsis of books are taken from Amazon, stay tuned for original reviews!)

See ya all soon!
