Rainbow – Poetry + Talks!

Pieces of words falter around,
Feelings and emotions have no places,
People withered and roaming
with a smile plastered
happiness mackled inside.
We run around
chasing the horizon of truths,
Forgetting the souls waiting
at home, waiting for the summer
to bring the rays of hope.
The gumusservi echoes through
Lights lingering
waiting for the owners
to seep back through
glow in the shadows again.
And then the rain falls,
Blistering the emotions and
slowly making us numb.
A sun shoots up,
golden lines chasing the roofs
and hearts right through,
Look at me and smile,
A rainbow is gleaming tonight.

Onto some talks now! Well, again, I am not a talkish freak but I have not been able to post up all the blogger awards’ posts so I try to answer the questions from there here. I am also tagging a few of the bloggers I personally love readings posts from, at the very end.

The questions are from Riddhi, Cherelle and Ashmita who have had nominated me for different tags! I covered a few questions from Riddhi and Cherelle in my last post where I answered one of my very few questions.

Let’s get started!

15 Five Things that bring me Joy:
(15 is a long list so I’ll do five for now)

  1. Books that get me intrigued from very first page
  2. Budding flowers
  3. F.R.I.E.N.D.S
  4. Friends (understand the difference yourself.)
  5. Making someone smile 🙂 (smile please!)

The one food that you will eat, even on a full stomach?

That would be, pizzaa! Ofcourse, atleast a piece!

Stuck in the world of a historical fiction or fantasy? Any particular book?

Well, I enjoy all the fantasy books I read! But, I would really love to get lost into the world of Windhaven! (I’d love the haunting stuff!)
Check out The Windhaven Witches by Carissa Andrews which will be completed as a set of four books this December if I am not wrong!

Include the best bookish picture that you have ever taken.

So, there is this picture I took when I actually started book blogging, you’ll find it present as a featured image of the first book review i ever wrote!

Yes, I made the bookmark!

If money was no object, where would you travel?

Is The WHOLE WORLD an option?

What would you like to say to your younger self?

I’m proud of you. Keep choosing what your heart says!

A song you’ve been listening to a lot in the last month?

Well, I love listening to a lot of different songs. Lately, I have been listening to Halsey’s songs and oh god! I love them all!

But, here are two songs being listened again and again!
Bailame by Nacho
Speechless by Naomi Scott

A question by Jennifer Mugrage:  Who is your favorite dead poet and did you like the movie Dead Poets Society?

I don’t really believe in favorites but Robert Frost has been an inspiration to me. I love reading a lot of classical as well as modern poetry. Both symbolize and channelize feelings in their own ways!

Another thing, I have not watched Dead Poets Society but planning to watch it soon. I hope I enjoy it!

And that’s all of the questions for today, now a few mentions I’d like to make!

If you are looking for some bookish stuff!

  1. Riddhi from Whispering Stories
  2. Ashmita from The Fictional Journal
  3. Cherelle from Cherelle the bibliophile
  4. Kristin from Kristin Kraves Books
  5. Sofii from A Book A Thought
  6. Aaron from Swords and Spectres
  7. Stephen from Stephen Writes

For Some Beautiful Words!

  1. Harsh from Crytic’s World
  2. Navin from Navin’s Poetry
  3. Bharat from Bharat’s Banter
  4. Rishika from Whimsical Wordsmith

Well! That is all for today people. I love reading many more people but just am not able to get them in my mind! Nobody get offended! Lots of love. See yaa all soon!

  2. Hey Krupali, Congratulations on being nominated me for different tags…it’s such a beautiful poem you’ve written…deep words…with a magnificent ending…these lines are simply stuck in me…the way you’ve expressed…”Forgetting the souls waiting at home, waiting for the summer to bring the rays of hope.”…it’s nice to know a bit more about you as well…so you too like the pizzas…one of my favorites too…sometimes I make it at home from scratch…it’s a mindful process from preparing the dough to baking it in the oven with all the toppings on…”Time for me to disappear into my own world”…I can relate to that right away…you write well…well, I’m talking about your handwriting…while I was reading your post & scrolling down, I saw my name…wow, that’s a surprise…I’m humbled that you’ve mentioned me…thank you very much for such a wonderful & kind gesture…much love ❤️ ✨
