The Reindeer Read-a-thon || Changing the TBR || Reading Updates

If you don’t know this yet, then, what do you know? just kidding, or am I?! Well, I am participating in a read-a-thon which is known as The Reindeer Read-a-thon. Basically, there are prompts given on which one chooses a book of their choice and decrease their TBR pile (or pile it up instead!).

But but but. . . . it looks like there is a lot of hindrance this time and so here I am with some changes I made and a few updates on the books I read, which you will be seeing a review of, eh! if I don’t forget that is.

Which books have I finished reading?

Home Body by Rupi Kaur

Yes! I finished it. It was a good read, i will like to say that. I enjoyed the longer writings present in the book though, not saying I did not enjoy others but I am just a person who enjoys reading longer works. There are some lines though which blend right through me. The start of the month was very good!

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

A good classic on-go.
It was good, yes, and it was short yes, and I liked it. Also yes! I do not know how to judge this one but I enjoyed it!

Othello by William Shakespeare

Now, I had to read Marlene for a book having only title of one word but, but, but, I just could not get into that book. While the original text Marlene is best-seller, the translation done to english is not very apt and the story line is just not connecting. And so, I had to DNF it.

Now, moving onto Othello. OH GOD! Oh god oh god. I just loved it, it was the first text I read by William Shakespeare. Oof, I seriously was not expecting to like it.

The Kingdom of Back by Marie Lu

I don’t know how many times has this book appeared on my website. I just cannot stop admiring the cover. The story line is going beautiful as well. I am obsessed with the writing style as well. oof oof!

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E SCHWAB

All I would want to say, just go an buy it.

I just loved how Victoria has written this one. Do check her website. I just really love her. I have not been able to get it in paperback, not available at any local bookstores here. But, yes, I bought the ebook and am really glad that I did. I am just waiting to buy the paperback of this.

Haunted Legacy by Carissa Andrews

Carissa is one of the best Indie book authors! Trust me on this. A series getting me gripped is a whole lot different thing. I have just started it. If you wish to start her books I guess Windhaven is the best series to start with.

Also, Carissa has discounts and free books on amazon every now and then, so keep an eye.
