The NetGalley ARC Haul !!

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a great day! Here I am with kinda haul, kinda discussion post 😁. Well, I’ll try at least.

For about six months, I’ve been using NetGalley for my Advance Reader’s Copy or sometimes for Digital Review Copies. The reason for using NetGalley is that it is a really good interface and wide variety of titles. They have sorting of the books by:

  1. Categories
  2. Most Requested Titles
  3. Featured Titles.
  4. Audiobooks as a different section
  5. Publishers
  6. And Previously on NetGalley (this is really important to know as there are a lot of series of which you might not be aware of, this helps a lot.)

Also, the tracking system is great as well. I really enjoy the percentage ratio of Approved Books vs Reviewed Books. When I got my hands on NetGalley, I did the mistake everyone tells you not to. I requested all the books whose covers were beautiful. And yet, I got approved for about 20 titles, and oh god oh god! How hectic it was to go through them all. I can read a good amount of book in a month, about 2 or 3 in a week (if I want.). Well, that helped me get down the ARC pile I had on NetGalley. Currently I am only 76% which is because I had to get three books for upcoming blog tours which got my score down from 80%. But, 76 is good, right?

For now, I have stopped requesting the titles(a pure lie), atleast till I finish off all the books I currently have on my list. Most of them are auto-approved titles and others are the one I requested a long time ago which are going to release during 2021. So, let’s have a check on what’s on my NetGalley TBR haul!

The ARC pile of my NetGalley has eight books right now. Thank you to all the publishers for accepting my requests! πŸ“šπŸ“–

Three of them are for upcoming blog tours, three are the ARCs remaining on my shelf from June-July of 2020(when i just started using NetGalley.). The other two are the requested titles for which I was approved! Let me show you what I have.

Well, that is all I have right now in my TBR. Most of these books release in Jan and Feb of 2021 while others release out near May! So excited for this!

  1. I made that mistake once, too. Requested a ton of books that looked pretty, got approved for most of them, then some that I REALLY wanted to read came out but my submission rate was well below 80%. Live and learn. Worked my rate up to 86% so I felt it safe to request some books again.
