I fall down : Poetry

I’m the starless sea of night,
Laying below the huge
moon which smiles so bright
Under my light.

I reach to the shore to hold
Onto the warmth of salt
But, it breeches me away
Away to the cold.

Faltered with the filth,
Gagged and fitted by love,
I’ve choked onto the stones so blue,
It holds me down, so I drown.

Looking out for the stars,
I’ve made a staircase to the clouds,
To seep myself within the scars,
Paradox, I’ll always fall out.

So, I wrap myself around you
To save you from the pain of truth,
Shush! Let me call you tonight,
We will hold onto this night.
