Today’s prompt was to write about ‘stealing’.

Long lost ago,
My eyes have dried up,
No tears fall down,
All the sorrows trapped inside,
I’ve stolen my heart from my heart, cannot help.

No curves form on the face,
A blank line appears,
Words do not escape,
I’ve stolen my heart from my heart, cannot escape.

All the blues subdue,
Sweat rolls down through,
I wish to run, I can’t
My legs are paralyzed again,
I’ve stolen my heart from my heart, cannot rewind.

Look at me,
Feel the trance,
I’ve lost everything I had for you,
I stole your heart one day,
You’ve stolen my smile forever.
